We are delighted to have been awarded not one but two Primary Times Star Awards, making 2018 the 5th year in a row we have been honoured with an award!
This year we have been announced as the ‘Best Family Attraction in Essex’ as well ‘Best Halloween Attraction in Essex.
It is fantastic for the zoo to be recognised as a great family day out! Our team work extremely hard and we are always looking for new ways to develop Colchester Zoo with both our animals and visitors needs in mind; with the aim of conserving endangered species.
Our Halloween events are one of the highlights of Colchester Zoo’s annual event calendar for both staff and visitors. It is a very busy time for our team who as well as running their usual departments, also step into their scaring shoes and put on some amazing attractions for our visitors to enjoy!
A huge thank you to all those who voted for us, without your support and your visits the vital conservation work that Colchester Zoo is part of would not be possible so thank you very much indeed.
All winners of Primary Times in Essex Star Awards 2018 were released on the 29th January 2018. The awards champion the best places and best businesses within Essex for families with young children.
Primary Times in Essex is a free ‘what’s on and where to go’ guide specifically for the families of children aged 4-11 distributed to primary, infant, junior and preparatory schools in Essex.
