Please be aware that the Café UmPhafa has now reopened as Penguini's Pizza and Pasta. For the first few weeks the new restaurant will be offering a reduced menu to ensure that the service is to the high standard which we strive to offer, we will then gradually introduce the full menu. During this time we thank you in advance for your patience and we hope you enjoy our new eatery!
The new eatery focuses on the favourites, Pizza and Pasta, but still offers sandwiches and light snacks. The makeover sees the café renamed ‘Penguini's’ and takes on a brand new style reflecting its new name, bringing a little bit of the outside in whilst tying in elements of the Humboldt penguins environment. This makes it a light and airy self-serve restaurant with a modern and relaxing atmosphere. It also includes a private area for exclusive pre-booked events with a glass wall partition.
The second phase for the new restaurant is to extend the terrace seating area to open the back of the restaurant by the top of Penguin Shores, looking down over the Inca Trail.
