Our young male Komodo Dragon Curu was our first success in hatching Komodo Dragons here at Colchester Zoo back in 2013. He has continued to grow healthy and strong in his enclosure at the Wilds of Asia building but as he continues to grow in size he has now moved over to our ‘Dragons of Komodo’ exhibit.

He spend some time off show whilst adjusting to his new environment but is now able to access his on show enclosure next to our Action for the Wild room- the very area he started out in as an egg, and is beginning to explore this new area. 

Curu’s old home won’t be empty for long as two of his younger and smaller siblings will be taking up residence in Wilds of Asia.
