Ipswich based national cold storage and refrigeration firm Seven Refrigeration are supporting our charity Action for the Wild to increase awareness of the plight of two of the world’s most endangered big cats.

Along with a financial contribution to the charity, Seven Refrigeration’s two new Mercedes Vito vans have been wrapped with graphics depicting the Amur Leopard and Amur Tiger, both of which are species housed here at Colchester Zoo and critically endangered in the wild.

These much needed funds will go towards assisting with disease surveillance in the Russian Far East of Amur Leopards and Tigers and the training of Russian veterinarians to assist with their care.  Colchester Zoo's Action for the Wild is very grateful to Seven Refrigeration for their support and for their assistance in raising awareness of these two species from this region.

Warwick Dunnett, Managing Director of Seven Refrigeration said “We were delighted to be able to support the fantastic work done by Action for the Wild to help fund the conservation of both of these magnificent big cats.”

The two vans will be out on the roads nationwide providing support to Seven Refrigeration’s network of refrigerated portable coldstores.
