Here at Colchester Zoo we are offering a very special photography workshop for our junior customers. Zoo Photography for Children is a 5-hours photography workshop (12:00pm until 5:00pm).  

Professional wildlife photographer Barbara Meyer will help the children with setting up their cameras and teach them how to approach wildlife photography. There won't be any classroom tuition on this photography workshop, but the children will have access to one-to-one advice if needed.

This course will be open to children aged 8 to 15 years, and will have no more than 4 participants to ensure all children will be able to take full benefits out of this workshop (minimum number 3 participants).

A special aspect of the Zoo Photography for Children workshop is that the guardians (one parent or guardian per child) will be able to bring their camera and benefit from the photography advice/support, provided at the event as well. This offers the opportunity for the children and their guardians to enjoy the photography experience together.
