Once again Harley Street Dentist Peter Kertesz has paid some of Colchester Zoo’s residents a visit! Peter usually treats humans but after founding ZooDent in 1985 he has also become known for his work in veterinary dentist care.

During his recent visit to Colchester Zoo he gave Tanya, one of our elephants, a quick check up. Tanya was a very good patient and was more than happy to lift her trunk and let the dentist take a look! Peter also had a close up encounter with our sloth Gallina and two of our hunting dogs all of whom had their teeth thoroughly cleaned.

Visits from Peter are extremely important to keep the animals at Colchester Zoo healthy and we look forward to seeing him again soon!
