We are delighted to have been awarded a Primary Times Star Award for the 4th year in a row, this time for Best Venue for Animal Encounters in Essex! It is fantastic for the zoo to be acknowledged for the up close encounters which we strive to offer for visitors to learn about species from all over the word and the importance of conservation. We wouldn’t be able to assist conservation projects worldwide without the support of our loyal and valued visitors so thank you very much indeed!

All winners of Primary Times in Essex Star Awards 2017 were released on the 30th January 2017.  The awards champion the best places and best businesses within Essex for families with young children. 

Primary Times in Essex is a free ‘what’s on and where to go’ guide specifically for the families of children aged 4-11 distributed to primary, infant, junior and preparatory schools in Essex.
