At the start of 2018 our black and white colobus monkeys temporarily moved in with our Patas monkeys as their old enclosure was demolished as part of the Lion Rock development project.

Since then work on their new home has been completed and not only have the colobus moved into their luxury new pad but the Patas monkeys have moved with them with the two groups now living together in this fantastic new area.

They are enjoying having aerial views over the zoo and surrounding areas and have been seen climbing their beams which reach up to 9 metres tall!

Their old enclosure located in the Kingdom of the Wild building and will be redeveloped in the future so watch this space!
