On the 20th April Colchester Zoo welcomed three young female European grey wolves. The trio have been busy exploring their new home which can also be seen from our Lost Madagascar Express road train. Now they have settled in they have also been spending some time getting to know our male Kera who they share their home with.

The grey wolf is classified as Least Concern (LC) on the IUCN Red List. The grey wolf is the largest wild canid, or member of the 'dog' family and can be found in many different coat colours, the grey wolf may be grey, red, brown, black, or almost pure white

See if you can see them at our ‘Call of the Wild’ enclosure.
