For 2015 our education team worked hard to produce some brand new education sessions including their very own Penguin Christmas specifically designed for Primary School pupils.

During this new winter session the KS1 and 2 pupils were taught all about this amazing species by our education elf before meeting our penguin keepers and getting the chance to get up close to the penguins themselves!

After all this excitement the children then got to meet Father Christmas who joined the groups to deliver each child their own gift!

This new session proved to be extremely popular with teachers and pupils alike offering a lesson which fitted in well with their animal topics and a great way to celebrate the end of a busy term with a festive experience!

With the first year already proving to be a success we hope that our 2016 Christmas session may prove to be just as popular!
